Occupational Health and Safety
The purpose of the Occupational Health and Safety Officer Training (OHSOT) program is to provide participants with the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding required to effectively manage safety and health issues in their workplace. The goal of the program is to reduce the risk of accidents in their workplace and to create a working environment where safety and health are considered a priority by all involved. Through appropriate training and empowerment of OHSOTs, we aim for a healthier, safer and more productive working environment for all employees.
Based on the legislation (K.D.P. 158/2021), each employer is required to designate in writing one or more individuals who will be specifically involved in the protection and prevention of risks that may arise in the company’s premises. These individuals, also known as the Internal Protection and Prevention Service (IPP), play an essential role in protecting employees and ensuring a safe working environment. In addition to fulfilling protection duties, these individuals also provide advisory support to the employer on occupational safety and health issues.
