Incentive Scheme for Employing Unemployed Individuals through Flexible Forms of Work via Teleworking

The Scheme involves subsidizing part of the wage costs of personnel by the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance as an incentive for employers to hire unemployed individuals who will work through various forms of teleworking.

The subsidy will be provided for ten (10) months of continuous employment with the employer obligated to retain the employee for an additional two (2) months without subsidy.

The maximum grant amount is set at €8,600 per participation in the Scheme.

Applications are accepted from 20/3/24 until the budget is exhausted or an announcement is made for the termination of the Scheme.

Incentive Scheme for the Employment of Young People Aged 15 to 29 Who Are Not in Employment, Education, or Training Combined with a Two-Month Training

The Scheme aims to alleviate unemployment among young people aged 15 to 29 who are not participating in education or training programs and to sustainably integrate them into the labor market by placing them in subsidized employment positions and providing work experience combined with two months of training.

The grant is provided for a total of 14 consecutive months of employment as follows:

  • Two (2) months of training
  • Twelve (12) months of continuous employment (ten (10) months of subsidized employment and two (2) months of mandatory employment without subsidy)

The maximum grant amount is set at €8,600 per participation in the Scheme, with an additional €1,000 corresponding to the two-month training period.

Applications are accepted from 20/3/24 until 31/7/2024.
